The head of medicine department of CDA hospital Dr. Siddique Akbar Satti supervised a mock exam of IMM (Intermediate Module), on 31st of December 2014. Post graduate trainees from all over the Pakistan participated in this exam and really appreciated the efforts of CPSP and the organizers especially the Supervisor and Host Dr. Siddique Akbar Satti, who is the head of medicine unit of Capital Hospital (Also called CDA Hospital).Passing the IMM Exam is necessary to continue further training or to move into a sub-specialty. This mock exam was organized by CPSP and following were included among the organizers of this Exam.
The department of medicine of Capital Hospital, has the privilege of being the first host of IMM exam that has been organized with the collaboration of CPSP.
“This is a great effort, and we are thankful to Sir siddique akbar satti for hosting this for us. This exam has really helped me to identify my deficiencies and i will work on these deficiencies and and try to fill them up in the final exam, and i hope this won’t stop here and i wish that there might be another mock exam for FCPS part II exam also.”, One of the participants commented.
The course was coordinated by Dr. Farhan Ali, and the examiners included;

The exam continued for three days, that is from 31st December to 1st of January. The participants were divided into three batches and the Exam of batch A, B and C was held on December 30th, 31st and January 1st respectively. The participants seemed really excited.
“I feel nervous, the examiners have that very serious look on their faces, although it’s a mock exam but i am still getting these cold sweats, you see”, another participant commented.
At the end of the exam, all the participants were gathered in the auditorium where their deficiencies and also good qualities were explained by the examiners. The examiners guided the participants about their approach to patient from exam point of view. They also guided the participants the better way to tackle their mistakes or tongue slips during the answer question session.
