Miss Anum Aman Pasha is a Clinical Psychologist, well known for her excellent counselling and communication skills, currently working with an NGO called Rozan which is working for a violence-free society and she is also a member of visiting faculty team of CDA Training Academy.
Anum Aman Pasha was born in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan on April, 15th 1990. She completed her matriculation and Intermediate in pre-medical from Bahria College E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad. During her educational period at Bahria College, she participated in extracurricular activities such as sports, debates, dramatics e.t.c. Anum is a national level Basketball player and has won a gold medal against other Basketball teams from all over Pakistan. Furthermore, she has the honour of having been awarded The best Athlete award of Bahria College for the consecutive three years. But due to a severe injury of her backbone and other health issues, she had to say goodbye to Sports. After completing her intermediate, she got admission in Punjab University from where Anum Aman completed her Bachelors in Sciences in the subject of Zoology, Botany and Applied Psychology and received The Role of Honor. Then she joined Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad from where she completed her Masters in Psychology and was a position holder throughout. For the duration of her masters, she did an internship in the department of psychiatry of five different hospitals of Islamabad and Rawalpindi including, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Military Hospital, NIRM, Shifa International and Poly Clinic. After completing her masters, she did her post magistrate diploma in clinical psychology from Islamabad Federal College.
Anum Aman Pasha conducted research to explore the relationship between coping styles and perceived social support among addicts and non-addicts. The sample of the study comprised of 180 male individuals (90 drug addicts, 90 non-addicts). Age range of the sample was 22-38 years (M=26.47, SD=5.12). The results were highly significant.
