1. Lobar pneumonia is caused by Pneumococci in 90 % of cases,
few cases are caused by Klebsiella pneumonia and Staph aureus.

H. influenzae, Proteus and Pseudomonas

2. Lobar pneumonia occurs in otherwise healthy individuals between 30 - 50 years of age.
